Felton, DE 

 

South of Dover, DE on US Route 13:

  • Turn west in Viola, DE onto Rt. 32. Traveling south will be a right turn. 

  • Go to Stop sign; go straight, cross railroad tracks.

  • Go to stop sign, turn right at Firetower Rd.

  • Follow road several miles to C&R Center Rd. on left.

  • Turn left on C&R Center Rd.

  • As soon as you make the turn take a left on Beagle club Rd. The Clubhouse is around a mile on your left. There is a sign there.

From Chesapeake Bay Bridge: 

  • Take Rt. 50 East to Rt 301 North.

  • Turn right on Rt. 304 east.

  • Left on Rt 312 in Bridgetown.

  • Turn right onto Rt. 287 which becomes Rt. 10 in De. To Petersburg.

  • Turn right in Petersburg on Firetower Rd.

  • Turn Right on C& R Training Center Rd 

  • Bear right at fork

  • Turn left on Beagle Club Rd.

  • Clubhouse is around a mile on your left. There is a sign.

872 C & R Center Rd.

From the Bay Bridge;

  • At the 50 & 301 split bear left onto 301 North for 8.5 miles.

  • Turn right onto MD 304 East (Ruthesburg Rd.) for 9.3 miles to MD 312 North (Oakland Rd.).

  • Go 2.3 miles on MD 312 North then turn right onto MD 313 South.

  • Go 3.5 miles on 313 South.At the 313/311 intersection, go straight through onto MD 287 East for 8.1 miles.  (287 East turns into Route 10 East in Delaware).

  • Turn right onto Five Foot Prong Rd.Signs will start here.  Follow the signs.

From Salisbury, MD;

  • 13 North to Felton, DE.

  • Left on Rte. 12 West.

  • Go 2.4 miles then turn right on Sandtown Rd.

  • Go .9 miles and turn right on Beagle Club Rd.

  • Go 1.8 miles and turn right on C&R Center Rd,

From Dover: 

  • Take 13 South.

  • At Woodside, turn right (west) onto Rt. 10A (bcomes Henry Cowgill Rd.)

  • At the intersection of Rt. 10 and 10A, turn left onto Rt. 10 (Willow Grove Rd).

  • Drive approximately .04 miles and turn left in Five Foot Prong Rd.

  • Merge left onto Firetower Rd. (left).

  • Turn right (south) onto C&R Center Rd.

  • Drive 0.6 miles to the C&R Center driveway on left.  The building sets well off the main road.

From the Bay Bridge;

  • At the 50 & 301 split bear left onto 301 North for 8.5 miles.

  • Turn right onto MD 304 East (Ruthesburg Rd.) for 9.3 miles to MD 312 North (Oakland Rd.).

  • Go 2.3 miles on MD 312 North then turn right onto MD 313 South.

  • Go 3.7 miles on 313 South.At the 313/311 intersection, go straight through onto MD 287 East for 8.6 miles.  (287 East turns into Route 10 East in Delaware).

  • Turn right Henry Cowgill Rd (East Alt. Rte. 10).

  • Continue through the 1stlight onto Alt. 313.

  • At the 2ndlight turn left onto Rte. 13 North.

  • Continue into Dover. Turn right onto Rte. 8 East (East Division St.)

  • Bear left onto Rte.9 North.  Follow signs.

From Salisbury, MD;

  • 13 North to Dover, DE.

  • Turn right onto Rte. 8 East (East Division St.)

  • Bear left onto Rte.9 North.  Follow signs.

From the DE Beaches;

  • 1 North to Rte. 9 North – Exit 91.

  • Continue through Little Creek.

  • See sign to Edgewater Farm Lane

From the North;

  • DE Route 1S to Kent County.

  • Take Exit 98

  • Continue on DE8/N. Little Creek Road

  • Take DE route 9 N to Edgewater Farm Lane

Herring Run Farm (AKA Alan Visintainer’s farm)

8828 Andersontown Rd, Denton, MD 21629

Note:  GPS will usually bring to you to Andersontown Road but to the wrong location.

From West:

Take Rt. 50 east to Rt. 404 or take Rt. 313 south until it meets Rt. 404.  Continue east on Rt. 404 past Denton until the divided highway ends.  Continue on east for another 1.5 miles then make a left onto Andersontown Rd.  Go .8 mile north to the farm lane on left.  Go through the gate and take the gravel drive to the barn in back.

From East:

Take Rt. 404 west from Harrington, or Rt. 16 west from Greenwood until it meets Rt. 404.  Continue west on Rt. 404 thru the light for Rt. 313 south.  Take the next right onto Andersontown Rd.  Go .8 mile north to the farm lane on left.  Go through the gate and take the gravel drive to the barn in back.
